What is Netweb Marketing?

Netweb Marketing is a term Dennis Elenburg made up when he was searching for a way to explain the concept of doing network marketing using the Internet. This is his definition:

Netweb Marketing synergistically combines the powerful concepts of Home Based Business, Network Marketing, and the Internet into a low investment business opportunity where average people can make above average income.

Why Home Based Business?

First is diversification. Any wise investor knows that diversification reduces risk. You may only want to have a part-time business. If you want to do "Netweb Marketing" full time that is also an option, but whatever venture you undertake should not require it to be profitable. Keep your job, and earn while you learn. This diversifies your income.

Second is simplification. Two income families are becoming the norm, but this is a tough lifestyle. Two income families may have additional financial stability, but it takes a toll on your family life. What if one of you could operate your own "Netweb Marketing" business instead of you both working outside the home? Even if you made less money in your home business, you'd be dollars ahead once you consider the reduced expenses in child care, commuting, etc.

Third is tax advantages. I'm not talking about a tax dodge, but legitimate tax advantages from owning a business. Middle income Americans who work for a paycheck shoulder a tremendous tax burden. By operating a legitimate home business, you are allowed some great tax deductions. The IRS has even relaxed the home office deduction requirements in the last couple of years. There are many more reasons why home business is attractive, and I'm sure you can think of a few yourself.

What Is Network Marketing?

Network marketing is a branch of the direct sales industry that has been around for over 40 years. It is the business of distributing goods and services through a network of people by referral. Word-of-mouth advertising is a tremendously effective form of advertising.

Dozens of large corporations use direct sales and network marketing to distribute their products and services. Companies like Rexall, Avon, Excel, Herbalife, Tupperware, Shacklee, Watkins, Mary Kay, Nikken, Amway, Melaleuca and many others move billions of dollars of goods and services every year through network marketing. Many of these are multi-million dollar operations. A few are multi-billion dollar global empires. There are also thousands of small network marketing companies offering nearly every product and service you can imagine. This is a well accepted way of doing business. It is like mini-franchising without all the big start-up costs.

The Power of the Internet

The Internet has revolutionized global communications more than any other invention since paper and the printing press. It is unparalleled in all history as a communication tool. Doing business over the Internet (sometimes called e-commerce) has become well-established in the last few years, but the real power of the Internet is in communicating information. It doesn't take a big investment to reach a lot of people with the web and email.

Putting the Pieces Together

"Netweb Marketing" is the concept I'm using to develop my own safety net income in a home based enterprise. I'll be working right along side you. However, if there is one thing I have learned about network marketing it is that most people don't make any money! This is a big problem (and a truth you won't hear often from inside the industry).

Few people in the network marketing industry are willing to admit we have a problem in the industry. They still "sell the dream" that only a few can ever achieve while refusing to address the problem that part-timers aren't making any money. Most programs simply DON'T WORK for the average participant. Thousands of people keep losing money year after year, but it doesn't have to be like that.

Let's Just Be Honest

I've been involved part-time in network marketing since 1994, and I'm sick and tired of the hype and empty promises. I'm also fed up with all the "smoke and mirrors" in the recruiting process. It is shameful that unethical people take advantage of those who are uneducated and uninformed. It also unfortunate that people who don't even understand the concept of network marketing criticize it harshly.

We need more truth and honesty in network marketing. Maybe I'm old fashioned, but truth, honesty, and integrity are part of my core values and belief system. I'll not sacrifice these at any price. My pragmatism ends before my ethics are sacrificed.

I'm a big believer in doing your own discovery on any business opportunity. I'll objectively show you some things to look for, but it is up to you to decide if you are willing to invest your time and effort in building a business with us or anyone else.
